Liliana Galeano – Speech Language Pathologist

For twenty years, I have been working as Trilingual Speech-Language Therapist (Spanish, English and French). I have a Master Degree in Speech Language Pathology /Audiology in Colombia (South America) and Bordeaux (France).  I have a local working experience in New York as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist /CF, in Texas as Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist-Assistant, in Arkansasas a Speech Language Pathologist. I have aLicensure as Speech Language Pathologist by State of Florida.  ASHA -Certificate of Clinical Competence. During my professional career, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations and disorders. My high sensitivity to cultural linguistic and socioeconomic diversity interaction allow me to make clinical decisions as a SPL/CCC. I also have gained experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist in a variety of settings including Elementary schools, pediatric clinic settings, and home health with special needs children. I have the opportunity to professionally work with children with Developmental Delays, Feeding/Oral Motor Disorders, Down Syndrome, Autism, Apraxia, Fluency Disorders, and Articulation/Phological Disorders and Hearing Impairments.

I married Nelson Galeano in 2012. Nelson stays busy working as a Transportation System Engineer in Public Works Department in Manatee County. Moving to Bradenton has been a positive experience in every way for me. We enjoy traveling, cooking Colombian dishes and of course dancing salsa!
