Christopher Collins – Program Services Manager for Project Rainbow

Christopher Collins has lived in Sarasota for his entire life, leaving only briefly to attend the Florida State University. His passion for his hometown and working with children with special needs brought him back home and to Easterseals. Christopher worked with children with special needs through In Home Childcare, Teaching, and coaching with TOPSoccer for 10 years before working with The Lily School.

Christopher worked in the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten classroom at Easterseals before moving to management and overseeing Project Rainbow Respite Care. His experience with childcare in home & in the classroom for children with disabilities has served him well in his role overseeing respite care. His passion for the classroom and educating children has kept him involved with children’s programming, and overseeing the summer camp each year. Chris considers himself fortunate to have a career servicing children and adults with disabilities and creating a disability friendly community.
