Our employee spotlight shines a bright light on Cody Bowman. Cody is an intern from USF studying social work with a minor in sociology.
Born with spina bifida her relationship with Easter Seals first started back in 1994 when she received physical, occupational and speech therapy from the Easter Seals affiliate in Ohio. Fast forward a couple decades and Cody is a healthy 30-year-old that helps with the day to day functions at Easter Seals front desk. Cody also has a second job at Goodwill Manasota. Beyond juggling school and two jobs, Cody credits Easter Seals with her ability live independently and says she wouldn’t be where she is today had it not been for the therapy she received at Easter Seals.
Cody’s projected college graduation date is August 2017. With her degree, she plans to “advance the quality of life for people with disabilities.”
Thank you Cody for all your hard work and commitment to Easter Seals.
