Carrie Rasmussen, Community Engagement Director

Having served the agency in a 2003-2004 marketing role, Carrie returned to support the Easterseals Southwest Florida family in 2019 as our Community Engagement Director, heading up marketing and event management as well as the agency’s development team and other community-driven special projects. She came to the agency after 13 years as the Herald-Tribune marketing manager. Carrie has also held roles with the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Association Foundation, the American Power Boat Association’s Offshore division and also ran her own graphic design and marketing agency for more than a decade.

Originally from the northwestern suburbs of Chicago, Carrie moved as a small girl with her family to Sarasota in 1974. She earned her bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Florida and is a loud-and-proud Gator.
