Paul Klick – Director

klick-paulPaul is a forty-year real estate veteran who has a broad range of experience in mortgage origination, investment sales, equity origination, asset management, value recovery activities and advisory services.

He was the founder, President and CEO of EQ Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Equitable Real Estate, which was the largest commercial mortgage servicing and asset management organization in the country, with over $22 billion under management.  EQ Services was a major contractor for the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC), and the first servicer for the RTC’s very successful commercial mortgage backed securities program.

Paul was formerly Executive Vice President for Equitable Real Estate Investment Management, Inc. and responsible for marketing its commercial mortgage-related services in the public and private sectors.  Prior to that, he was responsible for the company’s national real estate sales program, which accomplished over $4 billion of asset dispositions.  He joined Equitable in 1971 as a financial analyst.  In 1978, he was promoted to lead the portfolio management team for one of Equitable’s largest clients, Central States, Southeast States and Southwest Areas Teamsters Pension Fund, a $2 billion portfolio of troubled real estate assets.  He became Vice President and Head of Investment Sales in 1984 for Equitable Real Estate’s Dallas regional office.  In 1989, Paul transferred to Equitable Real Estate’s Atlanta headquarters and was promoted to Senior Vice President responsible for the company’s asset disposition program.

Paul is a 1966 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College and received an MBA from Rutgers University.  Prior to joining Equitable, he served as a Captain in the United States Air Force.  He currently lives in Longboat Key, FL with his wife, Julie, and his special needs son, William
