Autism (ASD) Services for Young Children (Pre-school)
High-quality child care is a priority for parents with children of all abilities. According to a recent survey commissioned by Easterseals, most parents define quality care as a safe, child-friendly atmosphere that features a warm, approachable, well-trained staff, and a low child-to-caregiver ratio. But recognizing quality care does not guarantee parents will find it.
Child care centers meeting these criteria are not always easy to come by, particularly for parents of children with special needs. According to one study, nearly every state reports a shortage in child care for infants, ill children and children with disabilities.
The Lily School for Child Development responds to the needs of parents with children of all abilities by offering top-quality inclusive care.
Featuring safe and caring environments, state-of-the-art tools and programs, individualized learning plans, highly qualified teachers, low child-adult ratios, low staff turnover, and active parent-center partnerships, our Easterseals facility is designed to provide young children with the optimal environment for successful learning and development.
With their long-term commitment to children, Easterseals Happiness House and its dedicated staff exemplify the difference high-quality care can make in the life of a child.
Note: Easterseals’ national survey was conducted by Yankelovich Partners between March 29 and April 2, 2001. A total of 653 parents with one or more children under age 6 were surveyed randomly and unaided, yielding a margin of error of 3.8 percent.
