The Lily School for Child Development
The Lily School for Child Development is a licensed, inclusive early childhood and education program recognized for children 6 weeks to 5 years old. The Lily School utilizes the Creative Curriculum as the foundation of a developmentally appropriate, interactive learning environment that promotes the success of each child by: building healthy and positive self-concepts, providing opportunities to think, reason, question, and experiment, stimulating individual imagination, creativity, and sense of discovery, promoting language development, encouraging sound health, safety, and nutritional habits, and respecting cultural diversity. It provides a comprehensive early childhood curriculum, including field trips, Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK), community-based learning, yoga, visual arts, Spanish, and more. Comprehensive educational teams, including early childhood teachers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and registered behavior technicians, provide therapies for children with identified needs. The Lily School is accredited by The National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs and accepts a wide range of funding sources, including but not limited to: private pay, Early Learning Coalitions of Charlotte, Manatee, and Sarasota Counties, and both Manatee and Sarasota County School Boards.
