Insights Into Autism 2020
Gain a new perspective on and appreciation for living life with autism. The virtual conference will conclude with the unique viewpoint of the woman who pioneers the first-person perspective of living on the spectrum, Dr. Temple Grandin, who will present, “The Way I See It: A Personal Look at Autism & Asperger’s.”
The conference will also feature professionals who work every day in the study and treatment of autism, including:
- Co-founder and CEO Amelia Foxwell of Sweet Bay Magnolia Academy in Maryland, to present, “The Effectiveness of Co-Treatment for Children with Autism,” which will include input from renowned Speech Therapist Maureen Flanagan.
- University of South Florida Center for Autism-Related Disabilities’ Assistant Director Ellie Weber who will present, “Tips for Successful Interaction for Individuals with ASD”
- Easterseals Southwest Florida’s BCBA & Lead Behavior Analyst Michelle Fenton, M.Ed, presenting on “Early Intervention & Diagnosis Is Never Too Early,” which will include information about effective tools for treating children with autism, including neurofeedback and hippotherapy.
