The Lily School for Child Development

The lily School

Easterseals Southwest Florida provides exceptional services for persons with disabilities and their families across a lifetime by empowering individuals to live their lives to the fullest extent. At The Lily School our mission is to strengthen children and families by improving the quality of their lives through a comprehensive approach to development, education, health, and well-being.

Lily staff and administration provide an inclusive program to children ages birth to five, where they receive individualized care based upon their unique needs. We promote cognitive, social-emotional and physical development through daily activities. The Lily School uses the Creative Curriculum as the foundation for all learning experiences in the program. The overall safety of our children and our facility is our top priority to ensure the well-being of all.

The Lily School provides enrichment programs including the following: music, art, performing arts, reading, yoga, Spanish and educational field trips within the community. Easterseals Southwest Florida offers therapy services to Lily students based upon their needs. Classrooms include a Lead teacher, Assistant teachers and in most cases a Registered Behavior Technician. All Lily staff are credentialed through the state at a minimum, while almost all hold a formal certification.

The Lily School accepts a variety of scholarships and grants including the Manatee County Early Learning Coalition and the Sarasota County Early Learning Coalition. The Lily School also offers before and after school care to school-aged children along with camp programs for their school closures.
